Welcome to our website
The RF, Microwave and Millimetre Wave Lab (mmiRF Lab) is dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in high-frequency technologies. Our research focuses on developing cutting-edge components, circuits, and subsystems that contribute to the progress of radio and high-frequency systems, supporting both academia and industry.
Our expertise spans several key areas, including antennas for next-generation communication systems, metasurfaces for the control of electromagnetic waves, and non-linear characterization and modeling of RF, microwave, and millimetre-wave active devices. We also specialize in additive manufacturing and characterization of RF, microwave, and millimetre-wave devices, as well as the development of microwave biosensors for advanced sensing applications.
We actively engage in research collaborations with academic institutions and selected industry partners, participating in national and international projects. Additionally, we contribute to scientific committees, conferences, and workshops to share and expand our knowledge in the field.
The mmiRF Lab is composed of faculty members, postdoctoral and PhD researchers, top students, and technical staff, all working together to advance high-frequency research and development.
